Kim Eun-soo, CEO of Hanwha Galleria, was elected as the 30th president of the Korean Shooting Federation.

According to Hanwha Galleria on the 17th, CEO Kim ran as a single candidate in the registration for the presidential candidacy that ended on the 7th. The Shooting Federation Election Commission decided to make Kim Eun-soo the 30th president of the Korea Shooting Federation after a candidate screening procedure in accordance with the articles of association for single candidates. The 30th President of the Korean Shooting Federation, Kim Eun-soo, begins on the 26th and lasts four years.

Hanwha Group has been fully supporting Korean shooting at the group level since 2002, with Chairman Seung-yeon Kim’s love for shooting. For 19 years, a shooting development fund amounting to KRW 20 billion has emerged for 19 years to improve athlete performance, such as holding the Hanwha Chairman’s National Shooting Competition and conducting overseas field training for the national team.

Thanks to Hanwha Group’s continued support for shooting, Korean Shooting did not miss a prize at the Olympics, Asian Games, and World Shooting Championships held during the sponsorship period with the Busan Asian Games in 2002. At the 2008 Beijing Olympics, he won the Olympic gold medal in 16 years. In 2010, it won 13 gold medals in the history of a single event in the Guangzhou Asian Games, 3 gold medals in the 2012 London Olympics, and 2 silver medals in the 2012 Olympic Games.
