On the 8th, the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC) chief said, “We will consider introducing the Russian’Sputnik V’vaccine” in response to uncertainties about the novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19) vaccine.
In the’Citizen Participation Special Briefing’ of the Agency for Disease Control and Prevention Vaccination Promotion Group, Commissioner Chung said, “In relation to the Russian Sputnik vaccine, there is such uncertainty as a variant virus or supply issue, so we will continue to review the necessity of obtaining additional vaccines.” Said this. “We are continuing to review the contract for NovaVax vaccine,” Chung said. “If the contract between NovaVax and SK Bioscience is signed, we are also considering signing a contract with SK Bioscience.”
In relation to the AstraZeneca vaccine, which is continuing controversy over the’vaccination effect’ due to insufficient clinical trial participants, Chung said, “We are looking at the results of additional clinical trials.” It is supposed to be done, so I think I have to see the contents of the license and the results of the clinical trial.
