Through this contract, Etron will provide an Internet of Things (IoT)-based solar monitoring solution package, and Haedong Energy, Haein Technology, and CS Solar will be in charge of activating the public sector business by local governments.
A company official said, “In line with the government’s energy paradigm shift policy, we will present a new business model for the domestic renewable energy industry by combining Etron’s solar monitoring solution technology and the capabilities of partner partners.”
Meanwhile, the Etron solar monitoring solution consists of a RTU data collection device certified for linkage with renewable energy facilities of Korea Energy Agency, and a data monitoring solution using IoT network LoRa and Cat M1, and integrated monitoring related to power generation facility operation. It has a service function.
