In line with the official launch of the Nuclear Power Export Advisory Committee, the Ministry of Industry shared the direction of the government’s nuclear power export policy, and announced the opening of a comprehensive portal site’Nuclear Power Export Information and Support System’ to support SMEs’ advance into the overseas nuclear power market.

The nuclear power plant export information and support system, opened for small and medium-sized nuclear power companies, is a Korean site’k-neiss.org’ that provides information on overseas nuclear power plants and related support systems to companies, as well as Korean companies and nuclear power plant equipment and equipment to overseas clients and buyers. It consists of’k-next.kr’, an English site that provides parts information.

Although it is hoping to enter the overseas market, it is expected to be of great help to companies who are having difficulty accessing related information and promoting overseas promotions.

The Ministry of Industry and Industry has recently reinforced the nuclear power plant export support system for overseas orders in order to respond to changes in the nuclear power plant export environment in a timely manner, as orders for overseas nuclear power plants such as the Czech Republic have become visible, and interest in overseas markets for small and medium-sized nuclear power plants has increased significantly. We support the export of equipment and parts by companies.

In particular, the Ministry of Industry explained that this year is a very meaningful year for the history of nuclear power export, as the completion of the UAE Baraka nuclear power plant, the first nuclear power plant export in Korea, is scheduled. The company plans to start a successful commercial operation of the Baraka nuclear power plant, drive momentum, and focus on winning orders for overseas new nuclear power plants such as the Czech Republic and Poland.

An official from the Ministry of Industry said, “We will actively support the export of nuclear equipment and parts by our SMEs by strengthening cooperation in mutually necessary fields with major nuclear power export competitors.” We will also come up with a strategy.”
