Eoflow participates in the international medical equipment and hospital equipment exhibition’KIMES 2021

[이데일리 유준하 기자] A wearable drug delivery solution company announced that it will participate in the ’36th International Medical Equipment & Hospital Equipment Show (KIMES 2021)’ held at COEX, Seoul until the 21st.

At this exhibition, Eoflow will present its wearable insulin pump EOPatch.

Eopatch succeeded in commercialization for the second time in the world as a wearable disposable insulin pump. Unlike conventional insulin pumps, there is no infusion line, so the activity is free, and once attached, insulin infusion is possible for up to 3.5 days continuously, maximizing the user’s convenience.

An official of Eoflow said, “Through this exhibition, we will show the excellence and convenience of EoPatch to domestic and foreign medical personnel and overseas buyers, and prove the competitiveness of Eoflow in the diabetes market. He added, “Eopatch is an innovative digital medical device capable of effective diabetes management and is about to be launched in Korea at the end of this month.” The company plans to expand its sales in Europe after acquiring European CE certification in the first half of the year, starting with full-scale domestic launch.

This exhibition is in conjunction with the Osong Advanced Medical Industry Promotion Foundation (K-Bio Health). In 2018, Eoflow signed a business agreement (MOU) with the Osong Advanced Medical Industry Promotion Foundation to promote product development and commercialization.

Meanwhile, KIMES 2021, an international medical equipment and hospital equipment exhibition, is the largest medical industry exhibition in Korea to be held at COEX, Seoul from the 18th to the 21st of this month. 1,200 domestic and foreign companies will introduce more than 30,000 types of medical devices, hospital facilities, medical information systems, healthcare and rehabilitation devices, and medical supplies.
