The key to success for the Ionic 5 and Model Y is price.

According to the domestic EV subsidy policy established from this year, only 50% of the government subsidy will be provided if the vehicle sales price, excluding subsidies, falls between KRW 60 million and less than KRW 90 million. If it is set at less than KRW 60 million, you will receive a 100% subsidy. This year, the maximum amount of government subsidies for electric vehicles that can be paid is 7 million won.
