The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs announced on the 27th that it will resume support for eating out discounts, which had been suspended due to the spread of Corona 19, only for orders and payments through delivery apps from 10 am on the 29th.

The restaurant discount support business, which is being restarted, is only available in the non-face-to-face restaurant area such as delivery and packaging.

Participating delivery apps include △Delivery Limited Express △Mokkebi △Delivery People △Yogiyo △Coupangitsu △WeMepO △Peiko, etc.

Events that were held only on weekends will be extended to weekdays.

Consumers who want to participate should first apply on the card company’s homepage and app, check if the delivery app they use participates in the event, and place orders and payments at least KRW 20,000 (based on the final payment amount) in the delivery app with the applied card. do.

If you meet the conditions, you can receive a refund or a charge discount of 10,000 won from the credit card company next month. Up to twice a day for each card company, the delivery app simple payment is only recognized for performance when it is linked to the application card.

It is possible to visit the store to take food after placing an order or payment in the delivery app, but face-to-face payment by the delivery person and packaging after on-site payment at the store are not accepted.

Meanwhile, the government started a catering discount support project from August 14 to help the catering industry, which was greatly shrunken by Corona 19, but temporarily stopped after two days as the number of confirmed cases increased.

Afterwards, it resumed on October 30 after consultation with the quarantine authorities, but it was stopped again on November 24 as a’third pandemic’ occurred after mid-November.

Before the suspension, 3.44 million people participated and made 3.44 million payments, and 2.9 billion won was paid as refund or cash back through the card company for 290,000 cases that achieved the target performance.
