[에너지경제신문 김세찬 기자] During the Lunar New Year holidays, most department stores and marts are closed for one or two days. However, since every store has different holidays, it’s a good idea to check in advance before using the store.

Large marts such as E-Mart and Homeplus are closed on the 14th (Sunday) because it is a mandatory holiday.

E-Mart is closed on the 12th, the day of New Year’s Day, with 45 stores including Hanam and Ilsan. E-Mart Traders also has nine stores including Hanam and Goyang stores.

On the 14th, 92 branches including E-Mart Seongsu and Eunpyeong branches will be closed, and 10 E-Mart Traders will be closed.

Homeplus’s 13 stores including Osan, Gimpo, Gimpo Pungmu, Gangneung Boryeong, and Samcheok are open during the Lunar New Year holidays.

On the 12th of Lunar New Year’s Day, 24 stores including Goyang Terminal and Ilsan Branch will be closed, and 103 stores including Gangseo and Gayang Branch will be closed on the 14th.

Lotte Mart will close 28 stores including Goyang, Wonju, and Uiwang on New Year’s Day 12. On the 14th, 83 stores including Gangbyeon and Seoul Station will be closed.

Four stores, including the Gimpo Hangang branch and the Osan branch, are scheduled to be open during the Lunar New Year holidays.

Department stores are closed for two days including New Year’s Day.

Lotte Department Store’s 28 stores are closed on the 11th and 12th. The three branches of Bundang, Masan, and Centum City are closed on the 12th and 13th.

Shinsegae Department Store will be closed on the 11th and 12th at 11 branches, including the main branch and Gangnam branch. The Hanam branch is open on the 11th and closed on the 12th.

In Hyundai Department Store, 9 branches, including the Trade Center branch and Mokdong branch, are closed on the 11th and 12th, and the six stores including the Apgujeong Main Branch and the Sinchon branch are closed on the 12th and 13th.
