‘CES 2021’ held online on 11-14 days
Separately opened’K-Startup’ hall, participated in 97 domestic startups

[중소기업투데이 황복희 기자] Domestic startups, Ruffle, M2S, and SoftPV, won the Innovation Award at CES 2021.
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced on the 10th that the’K-Startup’ pavilion was opened at the CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2021, which is held online from the 11th to the 14th, and 97 domestic startups will participate.
CES is the world’s largest electronics show organized by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), and will be held entirely online this year due to COVID-19.
The main fields of this CES 2021 are 5G & Internet of Things, advertisement & entertainment & contents, automobile, blockchain, health & wellness, home & family, immersive entertainment, product design & manufacturing, robot & artificial intelligence, sports, startups, etc. . 97 domestic start-up companies gathered under the national brand of’K-STARTUP’ were selected through 10 supporting organizations such as Start-up Promotion Agency, Small and Medium Venture Business Corporation, and Daegu Techno Park.
The fields of participation of selected start-up companies are health and wellness (24 companies), 5th generation (5G), Internet of things (24 companies), and robots and artificial intelligence (15 companies). Participating companies will open individual online booths within the CES 2021 online exhibition site to post company introductions and digital contents such as videos.
Among the participating start-up companies, three companies, Luple, M2S, and SOFTPV, achieved the feat of being selected for the CES Innovation Awards.
The SMEs plan to provide information on participating start-up companies to overseas buyers and investors by establishing a separate promotional website (kstartupces2021.com) linked to the’K-Startup’ hall.
