SK Gas considers the burden of small businesses such as taxis and restaurants due to Corona 19

[투데이에너지 조대인 기자] Despite the increase factor of 30-50 won per kg, SK Gas, which frozen the domestic LPG price in January this year, decided to raise 88 won per kg, which is lower than the increase factor of around 150 won in February.
SK Gas (CEO Yoon Byeong-seok) announced that it will increase the domestic LPG price, which is applied from February 1, by 88 won per kg.
Saudi Arabia’s Aramco has informed LPG importers such as SK Gas and E1 that the international LPG price increased by $100 per ton to $550 for propane and $70 to $530 per ton for propane, respectively, and reported an average price increase of $85/ton.
As a result, despite factors that were not reflected in February’s domestic LPG price hike, a factor that had to be raised by more than 150 won per kg occurred, but it seems that the increase in LPG prices was lowered by more than 60 won per kg.
As SK Gas decided to increase the domestic LPG price by only 88 won per kg in February, major customers such as industries and charging stations that have contracts with SK Gas had a domestic and commercial propane price of 830.36 won per kg per month, which was 918.36 won per month. As a result, the price of propane for industries supplied through LPG bulky, etc. was adjusted from 930.36 won per kg to 1,018.36 won, respectively, and LPG was supplied.
The price of butane supplied to LPG car charging stations as fuel for transportation, including taxis, was 1,221.96 won per kg, but in February, LPG was supplied at an increase of 88 won to 1,309.96 won.
SK Gas, which has been leading the LPG price determination for several years, raised its domestic LPG price by 88 won per kg in February. It seems that LPG will price.
This is because LPG prices generally tend to converge downward to a lower level rather than a higher one, and the decision to raise the LPG price to a level lower than the initial increase factor.
