Announcer Do Kyung-wan (40) submitted his resignation to KBS and made a free declaration.

According to News 1 on the morning of the 1st, announcer Do Kyung-wan recently decided to resign and expressed his gratitude to KBS. Do Kyung-wan made a bold decision after 13 years of joining for a new challenge.

Do Gyeong-wan said that it is true that he expressed his gratitude to the media on this day, and said, “There is nothing fixed after leaving the company.”

Do Gyeong-wan’s submission of his resignation was a surprise. In the past, Do Gyeong-wan has dismissed the pre-declaration whenever it was raised. At the time of appearing in ‘1 vs. 100’, he said, “It was the condition of marriage (with Jang Yoon-jung) to not make a free declaration.”

Regarding this, Jang Yoon-jung said, “It seemed that one person should have a fixed income.” “Do Gyeong-wan’s salary is saved intact. “I am envious of getting all the income because my income is irregular.” In another broadcast, Jang Yoon-jung said, “I asked Do Gyeong-wan what his dream is, and he said that it was his dream to retire at the broadcasting company.”

Kyung-Wan Do graduated from Hongik University Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and joined KBS as the 35th public announcement announcer in 2009.

Do Gyeong-wan married trot singer Jang Yoon-jung in 2013 and has one son and one daughter. He is appearing in KBS 2TV’s’The Return of Superman’ and’New Release Edition’, and also took over at the ‘2020 KBS Drama Awards’ awards ceremony last year.

Meanwhile, KBS officially announced that Haha will participate in KBS2’s’Superman is Back’ as a narration on behalf of Do Kyung-wan’s vacant seat. The new narrator Haha’s performance can be confirmed in episode 363 of KBS 2TV’Superman is Back’, which airs at 9:15 pm on Sunday the 3rd.
