Coach Shin Tae-yong, who served as the coach of the Korean national soccer team and is currently in charge of the command tower of the Indonesian soccer team, has been confirmed with a novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19).

According to Yonhap News on the 20th, director Shin said, “In the past two weeks, despite some suspected corona symptoms such as fever and loss of appetite, the negative continued to appear and only today came a positive reaction.”

Korean coaches, who are in charge of the Indonesian national team with coach Shin, were also infected with Corona 19 before this. On the 5th, goalkeeper Yoo Jae-hoon coach and interpreter, and Kim Ha-woon chief coach were started, and on the 7th, physical coach Lee Jae-hong was confirmed to be infected with the Corona 19 virus in turn.

The players of the Indonesian soccer team have already been confirmed frequently since last year, and the local coaches were also confirmed to be confirmed this month.

Director Shin was notified of a positive antigen test the afternoon of the previous day, and as a result of receiving a PCR test immediately, he was finally confirmed early this morning.

Director Shin suspected of being infected with Corona 19 due to continued fever, sore throat, and loss of appetite, but was unable to receive treatment due to repeated negative tests. There were no serious symptoms such as difficulty breathing and high fever, but it is known that there are some underlying diseases, so it is impossible to relax. Director Shin plans to receive a lung x-ray at a hospital in Jakarta city and receive inpatient treatment if necessary.

In Indonesia, the number of confirmed cases per day exceeded 10,000 in January and February this year, but decreased to 5,000 to 6,000 in this month.
