Lee Sang-ryul (61), head of the moon exploration project, was appointed as the new director of the Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI), which was controversial due to the assault of the director’s staff.

The National Science and Technology Research Association (NST) held a board meeting at the Science and Technology Center in Yeoksam-dong, Seoul on the 22nd, and announced that it has appointed Director Sang-ryul Sang-ryul as Director Hang Woo-yeon and Jae-soo Kim (60) Director of the National Science and Technology Data Division as Director of the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI).
