The three additional people infected with the mutant virus from the UK are the family of a confirmed patient in their 30s who entered the UK on the 19th of last month.

The confirmed person was tested positive the day after entering the country and was self-quarantined, but on the 2nd, a mutant virus infection was confirmed.

At the time of entry, the four family members who met at the airport were found to have moved home together, but when the entrant was positive, they went into self-quarantine, and all four were confirmed.

Three of them have confirmed the mutant virus, and one remaining family member is also waiting for the result.

As the number of mutant virus infections from Britain and South Africa increased to 15, the quarantine authorities decided to further strengthen quarantine measures for foreign immigrants.

Flights departing from the UK will be suspended until the 21st, and everyone entering the UK and South Africa will be required to undergo additional testing at temporary living facilities even if the PCR test is negative.

The quarantine authorities are also closely monitoring the possibility of spreading the community through additional entrants or contacts.
