“It was in my second year of middle school. (Omitted) I saw students smoking cigarettes in the mountains. He couldn’t stand the rising temper and threw a word, but was beaten by a group. (Omitted) Until then, I was pretty good at studying, but I couldn’t concentrate on my studies anymore. My thoughts began to be more and more distorted.”

The candidate for Justice Minister Park Beom-gye was so-called’flying youth’. This is what he personally confessed in his autobiography 『Choice of My Life』 published in January 2008. Candidate Park joined the voice circle called’Jonathan the Seagull’ at Namgang High School in Gwanak-gu, Seoul, where he went on to study. bookWhen a big friend came to be beaten by another circle friend, he fought a group fight and chose to drop out for this. It is said that this has been controversial even in the process of personnel verification at the Blue House for candidate Park.

Candidate Park continued to wander for a while even after dropping out. The following is what he wrote directly to the book. “From then on, I had to make up my mind and cling to the entrance exams, but I still couldn’t come to my senses. Seniors and juniors and friends playing around in the neighborhood, smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol continued.

The politician’s autobiography is one of the best historical sources to recognize him. If you take off the packaging for yourself, you can see the author’s grain. In the autobiography of Candidate Park, there are several passages that give a glimpse of the candidate’s position on various issues, including the process of initiating politics from his growth period.

Candidate Park cites the poor family environment as the root cause of his wandering. Candidate Park was born the third of two sons and three daughters in Yakmok-ri, Shenzhen-myeon, Yeongdong-gun, Chungbuk. Both of his parents are handicapped with polio. It is said that there are not many memories of his father.

Candidate Park said, “I stayed at home for a while, gave birth to a child, and continued to go out. The last time I saw my father was in the second year of middle school.” So, in my family, my father is considered dead, and a rite is being held with my mother.”

Instead, Candidate Park expressed his special interest in his mother throughout the book. He wrote, “The word depression doesn’t fit in my childhood,” he wrote. “It is ironic that I was able to grow up bright, innocent, and wrinkle-free, but it was the power of love in the name of a family separate from my father.”

So maybe he “Some may say it’s an absurd dream, and some say it’s an impossible dream. But if possible, I want to make that dream come true. Being the Minister of Gender Equality and Family”I wrote.

It was his grandfather, who was no different from his father, who corrected Park’s confused ego when he was in school. When he heard of his dropout, his grandfather said, “It’s all gone. All child farming was wrong. All hope has collapsed.” He said he sighed with his head against the wall. “The moment I heard that, I opened my eyes and came to my senses,” he argues.

After completing military service while working in a police box as a defense, candidate Park entered Yonsei University Law School in 1985 at the age of twenty-four. It is said that in the turbulent 80’s, he served as a law school overseer and protested against the Chun Doo-hwan regime with other students. However, he said he did not join the so-called’Under Circle’ because of his grandfather’s request to visit the school once a week and say, “You should not join the demo line.” “Remaining as a neighbor who does not turn away from reality” was the conclusion he made when he was in school.

After graduating from college, he passed the bar exam in 1991, and Park made several friendships with a person who tended to be a friend. The following year, he met with Lee Yong-gu, the current vice minister of the Ministry of Justice, who was the 23rd classmate who entered the Judicial Research and Training Institute.

he is “When a trainee named Yong-gu Lee came to me, I asked him to become the editor-in-chief, saying that I am the oldest among the trainees who joined the editorial department. “What qualifications and authority does this friend ask me to be editor-in-chief? I have a question. As it turned out later, there was a meeting of friends who practiced and pondered both inside and outside the Seoul National University student movement sphere. Lee Yong-gu was the chairman of the meeting.”I had a drink.

Candidate Park, who achieved excellent grades at the training center, was appointed as a judge in 1994, and then worked at the’Korean Law Research Society’, a group of progressive judges. Here, it is said that he made a relationship with former Justice Park Si-hwan, former Justice Minister Kang Geum-sil, and Lee Kwang-beom, representative of LKB Partners.

Candidate Park entered politics by joining Roh Moo-hyun’s Millennium Democratic Party candidate camp ahead of the 16th presidential election in 2002. He chose Democratic Party lawmaker Kim Min-seok as the decisive reason for throwing the judgeship. The following is what he wrote in the book.

“Kim Min-seok, he withdrew his support for candidate Roh Moo-hyun on October 17, 2002, and left the Millennium Democratic Party to join Chung Mong-joon’s national unity 21. (Omitted) He made a choice that went against the cause. It was betrayal and rebellion against legitimacy. (Omitted) It was a situation where I had to revise my course to realize justice within the framework of law. Kim Min-seok, who lived in the same era, ignited the sense of justice that was burning deep in my heart.”

When Roh was elected, he was appointed as the second secretary for civil affairs at the Blue House. “Many people praised my ability. In the end, I felt like I was receiving the trust of the President who was second to the president’s closest people, Ahn Hee-jung, Lee Gwang-jae, and Lee Ho-cheol.” However, he is said to have lost the trust of the Blue House because he was pointed out as a person who shed a possibility of involvement of passport personnel in a newspaper company in relation to the’Good Morning City’ case.

Candidate Park remembered that it was due to the media’s greed for scooping. After receiving a phone call, they talked about the same amount of stories that appeared in a commercial information magazine. He wrote, “I immediately told Secretary Ho-cheol Lee and Chief Jae-in Moon that I was the provider of the information, and I talked about the whole story of the case.” But it was irreversible. “The incident made the president very angry. It seems that he was disappointed when his faith in me appeared with frivolity and sympathy. There were also many reports of obscurity about me.”

At that time, Candidate Park also revealed the so-called “Loyalty Competition” inside the Blue House through a book. he is “It wasn’t until the power struggle, but it is true that there was a loyalty competition for each other’s duties and roles, and at the core of the loyalty competition were Moon Jae-in and Lee Gwang-jae, the head of the State Administration.”I had a drink. “By my position, I was a subordinate to Moon Jae-in, and I was very close to Lee Gwang-jae,” he said. “There were situations where it was difficult to deal with, and that was the cause of the regret from Moon Jae-in and secretary Lee Ho-cheol.”

“The prosecution reform is that the president and the president do not interfere in the investigation”

In the book, we can also glimpse candidate Park’s perception of the prosecution. Based on his experience working in the Blue House Civil Affairs Office, he said, “It is not an exaggeration to say that Korea is a republic of the prosecutors’ office. It looked like an organization caught up in an excessive sense of superiority of maintaining and protecting.”

As for the direction of prosecution reform, he “The most obvious reform of all is that the Blue House and the President do not direct, interfere, or control the prosecution’s investigation,” he said. “The prosecution reform has already achieved 80% just by creating an atmosphere in which confident investigations are possible.”I wrote.
