A Japanese court sentenced to 10 years in prison for a case in which a 30-year-old daughter, who was forced to go to medical school for 9 years and was monitored by her mother every step of the way, even after becoming a nurse, stabbed her mother with a weapon and abandoned her body. Japanese media such as Yomiuri reported on the 16th.
Nozomi, 34, the defendant of the murder of his mother in Moriyama City, Shiga Prefecture, Japan, three years ago, was sentenced to 10 years in prison in an appeal trial held at the Osaka High Court.
Nozomi naturally dreamed of becoming a doctor after hearing her mother, Shinobu Kiryu, who was 58 at the time of her death, saying “I have to be a doctor” before entering elementary school. However, the grades were insufficient to go to medical school.
I applied for a local national university medical school, but each time I failed. However, her mother lied to her relatives, saying, “My daughter passed medical school,” and continued to force them to enter medical school.
He had been retraining for nine years and tried to run away from home three times, but he was found by the police and returned home.
It wasn’t until 2014 that he made a promise to his mother that he would become a midwife and entered the department of nursing at a local medical school.
However, a conflict began again between the daughter who wanted to become an operating room nurse and the mother demanding to follow the midwife’s license as soon as possible.
Nozomi said in court, “Mothers who didn’t go to college had an academic complex, ignored nurses and respected doctors.” So she explained that she wanted her daughter to be a midwife who looked like a doctor to people who weren’t nurses.
On January 19, 2018, Nozomi finally confessed to her mother that she wanted to become a nurse, but her mother still opposed.
Nozomi killed her mother by stabbing her sleeping in the neck that night, damaged her body, and dumped it on a riverbed near the house. Immediately after the crime, he wrote on his twitter, “I punished the monster. I am relieved with this.”
