Korean Americans Daniel Kang (29, Korean name Kang Hyo-rim) and Jessica Coda (USA) entered the overtime in the opening game of the 2021 season of the American Women’s Professional Golf (LPGA) Tour.

Daniel Kang played with 4 birdies in the final 4th round of the Diamond Resort Tournament of Champions ($1.2 million total prize pool) held at the Four Seasons Golf and Sports Club Orlando (par 71, 6645 yards) in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, USA on the 25th (Korean time). I tied one and wrote down 68 strokes.

Daniel Kang finished the tournament with a final total of 24 under par 260 with Jessica Coda at the lead. The two players will decide the final win through extra time.

Daniel Kang kept the top of the leaderboard until hole 15 (par 4). However, Jessica Coda grabbed a birdie and became a tie for the lead while halting par at the 16th hole (par 4).

The two players scored a birdie and par side by side on holes 17 (par 5) and 18 (par 3), and the match went into overtime.
