As warm and dry weather will continue until the weekend in some areas of Daejeon and Chungnam, special attention should be paid to fires such as forest fires.

According to the Daejeon Regional Meteorological Administration on the 26th, drying warnings are in effect in all four locations, including Daejeon, Cheonan, Asan, and Gongju, from 10 am on the day.

As of 5 p.m. on this day, the area where the dry warning was issued shows a distribution of minimum humidity of 12 to 25%, and the rest of Chungnam is also found to have a rather low humidity, with less than 30%.

In particular, the air condition is expected to remain dry as the daytime temperature is expected to rise significantly to around 15 degrees by the weekend.

During the day, the wind is expected to blow strongly at a speed of 5 to 12 meters per second, so it is highly likely to spread greatly if a forest fire or fire occurs.

An official from the Daejeon Meteorological Administration said, “Please prepare thoroughly, such as prohibiting the possession of firearms or smoking during outdoor activities such as hiking, and not burning rice paddies and fields, and not burning garbage.”
