In Daegu, the AstraZeneca (AZ) vaccine is followed by Pfizer vaccination.

According to the city of Daegu on the 2nd, 654 medical staff from the Corona 19 patient treatment institution will receive the Pfizer vaccine at the Jung-gu vaccination center located in the annex of Keimyung University Daegu Dongsan Hospital on the 3rd.

Pfizer’s Vaccine No. 1 vaccinator is the vice president of Dongsan Hospital, the Corona 19 base hospital, Nam Il Nam and the head of the nursing department, Inja Jung. They have been devoted to treating patients as medical personnel at Corona 19 treatment institutions.

Vice-director Nam said, “I will take the lead so that citizens can be vaccinated with confidence.”

Nursing Department Chung also said, “As a nurse, I am very excited to be vaccinated with Pfizer vaccine for the first time in Daegu. I will be more active in treating COVID-19 patients through vaccination.”

Daegu City is planning to expand vaccinations sequentially to 3,100 medical staff belonging to treatment institutions for COVID-19 patients, including these.

Meanwhile, Daegu Jung-gu and Daegu Dongsan Hospital signed a business agreement for efficient operation of the vaccination center prior to the Pfizer vaccination on the 2nd.

According to the agreement, the two organizations decided to establish a close cooperation system in relation to vaccination, including support for medical personnel.
