Daegu FC assault perpetrator “There was no sexual harassment… The other party demands 1 billion won”

“I’ve done it before, but it’s not constant harassment… I apologized for the assault.”

About three years ago, a former professional soccer player named A, who was accused of assaulting or sexually assaulting a junior player at the professional soccer Daegu FC, revealed that some of the suspicions were not true.

In a call with Yonhap News on the 7th, Mr. A said, “I have committed violence once in October 2018. “There was no sexual harassment,” he said. “There have been times when I made a mistake by frequently acting that violates the norm of life, rather than continuous harassment.”

On the previous day, on the Blue House National Petition bulletin board, a petitioner wrote that Mr. A consistently harassed, violated, and sexually harassed his younger brother (Mr. B) who was in the same club.

Petitioner said, “(Mr. A) threatened her younger brother to go out or stay out, or forced him to come in the middle.” Used to assault, knocked over and stepped on. He grabbed his brother’s hair and dragged him from the first floor to the fourth floor of the laundry room, locked him up, locked the door, and hit him.”

“I came every day, and after taking off my brother’s clothes for about an hour, I instructed my brother’s roommate to tie his hands and feet together using a dryer or a power outlet. After that, he wrote that there was sexual violence, such as making fun of his brother’s body while making fun, stuttering, touching his genitals, hitting his penis, and giving him sexual shame.”

The petitioner explained that he is securing a message containing intimidation or a video in which Mr. B is energized while taking off his clothes as evidence.

However, Mr. A explained, “There was a case where there was a time for the hotel to turn off, so there were cases of entering the room to check it, but there was no sexual harassment.”

Regarding the assault case, “I apologized for having been assaulted once, and I also accepted it. “I met my parents, apologized, and apologized to the members,” he said. “It was an accepted situation, and since then, we have been well.”

Mr. A asserted that Mr. B requested a large amount of money for further disclosure.

He said, “At the end of February this year, the talk came out again, and I learned that there was a protest by presenting a video to the club. Of course, I thought I had to apologize, so I contacted him and met him,” he said. “I thought the apology was accepted, but since then, I have asked for money by mentioning additional disclosures.”

“I met four times from the beginning of March, and since the first meeting, I talked about money and asked for 1 billion won, saying that I have never received an apology. It was a situation where I couldn’t help but appeal with tears and apologize because I couldn’t afford it.”

B’s side is known to have expressed its position to sue Mr. A for past damages, saying that it has not requested money first.

Mr. A said, “How would I first bring out the money story when I went to apologize? “It’s completely different from the facts,” he said. “Since they said they couldn’t afford the amount, they would agree (the other side), so I even told them to pay back in installments. (If it is less than 1 billion), he said, “I must receive even 500 million.”

He said, “I think I should reveal the facts. There are many false facts and exaggerated contents, so you should cover them. I think it will be revealed in court.”
