2020’s most anticipated work’Cyberpunk 2077′ has been postponed to September 17, which delayed the release date 5 months later.
On the 17th, CD Project Red released a notice of delaying the release of the game through its official website and SNS account. In a statement, the CD project’s co-founder Marcin Ibinsky and studio director Adam Badowski shared the reasons for the acting.
According to the announcement,’Cyberpunk 2077′ has reached the level of complete and playable game development at the moment, but finishing work is still required. The developers said, “Night City, the stage of the game, is full of stories, content, and places to visit,” but said that due to the enormous scale and complexity of everything, it takes more time to test, finish, and polish the game.
President Marchin Ibinsky hoped that’Cyberpunk 2077′ would be their best achievement, adding that an additional five months of development will be a valuable time to develop a complete game.
