The government decided to non-face-to-face and digitize the service industry with the Corona 19 incident. On the 3rd, the government held the 31st Emergency Economy Central Countermeasure Headquarters Meeting at the Seoul Government Complex, chaired by Hong Nam-ki, Deputy Prime Minister of Economy and Ministry of Strategy and Finance, and made this announcement.

The government has proposed a goal of improving the overall constitution of the service industry, creating 300,000 new jobs by 2025, and increasing the proportion of added value in the service industry from the previous 60% to 65%.
Kim Yong-beom, the 1st Vice Minister of the Ministry of Equipment, said, “The service industry has a service induction coefficient of about 12.8 people per billion, and the share of jobs in the promising service industry is assumed to be about 46.8%.” If so, it was estimated that 300,000 high-quality jobs could be created.”
To this end, the government will support the construction of smart systems for 100,000 small and medium-sized stores and 1,350 small and medium-sized businesses. It is helping small and medium-sized merchants and small and medium-sized businesses to build smart systems such as business automation and automatic customer response.
Small business owners who have adopted smart technology designated by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups can receive support up to 5 million won, and the self-pay rate is 30%. For small and medium-sized enterprises that have introduced innovative solutions, the amount of support is up to 60 million won, and the self-pay rate is 50%.
A 2 trillion won preferential guarantee is provided to service companies that use big data and artificial intelligence (AI). The intention is to help the service industry build a digital infrastructure or transform it into a smart service.
In order to create demand for the service industry on the premise of stabilizing quarantine, it will also prepare 8 vouchers and coupons for 23 million people, focusing on culture, lodging, eating out, and sports services.
In order to alleviate the gap between the basic infrastructure of the manufacturing and service industries, government service R&D support will be greatly expanded to KRW 7 trillion for 5 years until 2025, and service R&D guidelines including checklists and major support cases will be prepared and distributed. .
In order to advance overseas in fields such as health care and contents, we will support export financing of more than 20 trillion won over the next five years, develop new service standards of more than 100, and build a comprehensive statistics portal for the service industry.
It also focuses on high value-added in eight areas with high growth potential, such as tourism, health care, logistics, and finance.
A fund of 300 billion won will be created to foster small and medium-sized venture companies in the tourism field in the early stages of the start-up, and a basic plan to foster the marine healing industry will be prepared within the year.
In order to revitalize the market entry of new medical services, the evaluation system was completely reorganized, such as the introduction of a rapid review system and the conversion of the post-evaluation of innovative medical devices.
