The number of new confirmed cases of Corona 19 in Busan has reached 50 in two months since January 27 due to the outbreak of a collective infection at an entertainment establishment and a welfare center in Yeonje-gu.

As of the 27th, the city of Busan announced that 56 new cases of Corona 19 were added, accumulating 3,642.

There were 19 confirmed cases of Western refrigeration companies, and 20 were confirmed at the Yeonje-gu welfare center.

There have also been 1 cases of infection by contact at the bathhouse and church. A contact with the church in Haeundae-gu was also diagnosed with one person during self-quarantine.

Other than these, most are patients who are in contact with existing confirmed cases or are investigating the route of infection.

A pile of 14 confirmed cases were found in entertainment establishments used by Western refrigeration companies, and an employee’s contact with the church and 4 contact’s family members and colleagues were also added.

The cumulative confirmed cases of Western refrigeration companies increased to 36 (8 company employees, 2 family members, 12 related contacts, and 14 entertainment establishments).

As a result of a total investigation of the Yeonje-gu welfare center where there was a confirmed case the day before, 20 confirmed cases were added, resulting in a total of 24 cases. The welfare center, which is a day care facility, has been confirmed to have been in close contact with employees during the process of providing meals for users.

It was found that entertainment workers who were diagnosed as confirmed were moving around entertainment establishments in Dong-gu, Seo-gu, and Yeongdo-gu. Since it was difficult to identify their contacts, the city has requested a diagnostic test to visitors to entertainment establishments since the 15th.

As the number of confirmed cases occurred, the city emphasized that quarantine regulations should be strictly observed when visiting multi-use facilities.

Currently, 245 people are hospitalized in Busan, and there are 7 seriously ill patients.
