“Covid-19 confirmed one day in Japan, surpassed 6,000 for the first time in history”

Japan’s new coronavirus infection (Corona 19) was the first to record 6,000 confirmed a day, the Japanese English newspaper The Japan Times reported on the 6th.

The Japan Times cited the statistics of Kyodo News on the day, and reported that there were 6004 newly confirmed corona19 infections across Japan. Following the previous day (4,916), it changed the record for the most confirmed cases for two days in a row.

On the same day, 1591 new cases of Corona 19 were confirmed in the capital city of Tokyo. On the 31st of last month, it broke the record for the previous day (1337 people) in six days. The cumulative confirmed cases of Corona 19 in Japan have risen to 259,000,457.

The Japanese government will issue an emergency on the 7th targeting four metropolitan local governments in the metropolitan area, including Tokyo, where Corona 19 is rapidly spreading. The areas where the emergency is re-employed are Tokyo, Kanagawa, Chiba, and Saitama.

The time when the declaration of emergency will take effect is expected to be on the night of the 7th or at 00:00 on the 8th as announced in the official gazette. The duration of the announcement is expected to be about 1 month.

Earlier, the Japanese government issued a corona19 emergency to the whole country or in some regions in April-May of last year.
