The first vaccination of the new coronavirus infection (Corona 19) vaccine recorded a total of 21,177 over three days. The vaccination rates of the first-line priority vaccination subjects were 7.12% for AstraZeneca and 1.02% for Pfizer, respectively.
According to the Corona 19 Vaccination Response Promotion Team on March 1, the number of new vaccines for Corona 19 as of 0 o’clock on the day was 765, and the first vaccination was completed for a cumulative 21,177 people. The 765 new inoculations were 200 in Seoul, 120 in Busan, 33 in Incheon, 224 in Daejeon, 10 in Ulsan, 36 in Gyeonggi, 50 in Chungbuk, and 92 in Jeonbuk. The day before, there were no new vaccinations in Daegu, Gwangju, Sejong, Gangwon, Chungnam, Jeonnam, Gyeongbuk, Gyeongnam, and Jeju.
Currently, the targets of the AstraZeneca vaccine are 28,9480 residents and workers in nursing hospitals and nursing facilities under the age of 65. Of these, 2613 were vaccinated, and the vaccination rate was 7.12%. On the 8th of this month, vaccinations such as workers in high-risk medical institutions such as general hospitals and 119 paramedics will begin.
Pfizer vaccine is still being vaccinated only at the Central Vaccination Center of the National Medical Center in Seoul. Starting on the 3rd, the number of vaccinations will be expanded in a total of 5 locations including 4 regional vaccination centers and Daegu vaccination centers.
The preferred recipients of Pfizer’s vaccine are 54,910 medical staff who treat patients with Corona 19. Until 0 o’clock on this day, 564 people were vaccinated in the metropolitan area, and the inoculation rate was 1.02%. The inoculation rate is expected to increase significantly during this month when local vaccinations and in-house vaccinations are expanded by hospital.
