Corona 19 confirmed 6 days after the first vaccination of Pfizer vaccine… The reason is?

Average 52% of prevention effect before the second vaccination

95% effect is 7 days after the second vaccination

A local media reported on the 3rd that an Italian doctor was confirmed six days after the first dose of Pfizer’s Corona 19 mRNA vaccine. Health authorities are conducting epidemiological investigations to determine when he was infected with the virus.

According to local media, Antonella Franco, a doctor who works at the Umberto I hospital in Syracuse, Sicily, tested positive for the Corona 19 test on the 2nd (detected by the Corona 19 virus). On the 28th of last month, six days ago, he traveled by bus with other medical staff to Palermo, the capital city of Sicily, and received the first dose of the vaccine. So there is a possibility that more infected medical staff will emerge.

According to the results of phase 3 clinical trials of Pfizer’s mRNA vaccine, the average anti-infection effect of the first dose was 52%. Between the 1st and 2nd vaccinations, there were 39 confirmed cases in the vaccination group and 82 in the placebo (fake drug) group. Of the 10 severe COVID-19 patients observed after the first vaccination, one was vaccinated.

When the second vaccination was given 3 weeks after the first vaccination, the preventive effect increased to 90.5% by the 6th and to 95% after the 7th. Approximately half of the clinical trial participants without evidence of corona 19 infection were divided into vaccine and placebo (fake drugs) vaccinated groups, and after 7 days of the second vaccination, 8 and 162 people, respectively. After the first vaccination, it took 4 weeks to see 95% of the preventive effect.

Franco Rocatelli, a former doctor who heads the Italian government’s Higher Health Advisory Committee, said, “You need to get two vaccines to complete your immune system. I should never be relieved just because I got the vaccine once.”

Italy, like other European Union (EU) member states, started vaccinating Pfizer from the 27th of last month, centering on medical and health workers, and has received about 100,000 vaccinations by the 3rd. As of the 3rd, there were 14,245 new corona19 confirmed cases and 347 deaths in Italy. The cumulative confirmed cases and deaths were 2.55,446 and 75,332, respectively. The ratio of confirmed cases to the number of tests (confirmation rate) is 13.83%.
