Corona 19 1st quarter vaccination rate 85.6% 2 new death reports

The Corona 19 Vaccination Response Promotion Team announced that as of 0 o’clock on the 3rd, there were 38,058 new primary vaccinations, a total of 953,556 people completed the 1st COVID-19 vaccination. Of these, the number of vaccination subjects in the first quarter was 743,222, with an vaccination rate of 85.6%. Among the inoculations in the second quarter, 27,775 were newly vaccinated, and the inoculation rate was 4.9% (total of 204,334).

The number of reports of suspected adverse reactions after vaccination against Corona 19 increased by 147 to a total of 10,968 cases. There were 473 cumulative reports of Pfizer vaccinations, and all others were reported from AstraZeneca vaccinationers.

Of the adverse reactions reported so far, 98.6%, or 11,811 cases were surveyed as cases such as muscle pain, headache, fever, chills, and nausea, which are common after vaccination. 108 cases (1 new case) were reported as suspected cases of anaphylaxis, and 17 cases (1 new case) were reported as serious suspected cases such as convulsions. The reported deaths after vaccination were 1 case of Askrazeneca vaccine and 1 case of Pfizer vaccine, and as of this day, a total of 32 deaths were reported.

One of the deaths reported was a vaccination of the elderly aged 75 or older, who had an underlying disease, and died two days after vaccination on the first day. Another death report is that a patient admitted to a nursing hospital in his 70s died on the 27th after vaccination on March 25th, and it was also confirmed that he had an underlying disease.

The promotion team emphasized that the vaccine and causality have not been confirmed for adverse reactions and death cases reported after vaccination, and announced that it plans to conduct an epidemiological investigation to determine causality.
