The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on the 19th that the North Korean nuclear negotiating representatives of Korea, the United States and Japan held video consultations.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Noh Gyu-deok, head of the Korean Peninsula Peace Bargaining Headquarters, Seong Kim, Assistant Secretary of State for East Asia and Pacific Affairs of the United States Department of State, and Japan’s Foreign Minister Takehiro Funakoshi, head of the Asia-Ocean State Directorate, conducted discussions on the nuclear issue between North Korea and North Korea at the video conference.

The three members shared their assessment of the recent situation on the Korean Peninsula, and decided to cooperate and cooperate closely to achieve a complete denuclearization and permanent peace settlement on the Korean Peninsula, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs added, “Korea, the United States and Japan will evaluate the usefulness of trilateral cooperation on peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula and in Northeast Asia, and will hold follow-up consultations at an appropriate time.”

This is the first time since the inauguration of the US administration in January this year by the North Korean nuclear negotiator, the three countries Korea, the United States and Japan.
