Seoul Mayor Park Young-sun, together with Democratic Party candidates, resumes campaigning on the 28th.

According to an official at Candidate Park’s camp on the 27th, Congressman Chung Cheong-rae of the same party who accompanied Candidate Park’s campaign this afternoon had a’negative’ test result in a new coronavirus infection (Corona 19) diagnostic test.

Rep. Jung, who was with the campaign the previous day, was confirmed to have been in close contact with a corona19 confirmed patient, and was informed by the health authorities.

Candidate Park canceled all the schedules and waited for the results, such as stopping the campaign immediately after notification, taking into consideration the possible risks. An official from the camp said, “Since the campaign schedule is a promise with the voters, it is correct to proceed no matter what, but because of concerns about the health of the citizens of Seoul, he decided to stop the campaign in person.”

Instead, they participate in the’Park Young-seon’s Healing Camp’ event, which was scheduled to be held at Jamsil Saenae Station at 6 pm through an online video connection. When Candidate Park was not allowed to appear on the scene, the schedule was changed, such as Chairman Nak-yeon Lee, who had not originally planned to attend, filled the vacant seats for Candidate Park.

In a non-face-to-face campaign, Candidate Park said, “How can a candidate who discriminates against children, discriminates against the disabled, and talks to President Moon Jae-in to take responsibility for the future of Seoul?” It is an election that restores daily life.”

It is a plan to actively engage in campaigns as scheduled from the 28th as Congressman Chung was judged negative.
