President Moon Jae-in’s government approval rating has fallen to the lowest this year. In particular, the approval rating of’Lee and Woman’ (a woman in her 20s), the core supporter of President Moon, who was hard like concrete, plummeted.

As a result of a survey of 1065 men and women over 18 years old nationwide for two days from the 15th at the request of a daily public opinion poll company R&Search, President Moon’s government approval rate fell 4.3 percentage points to 36.7% compared to the previous week.
On the other hand, negative evaluation was 58.1%, up 3.4 percentage points from last week. The gap between positive and negative ratings widened from 13.7 percentage points to 21.4 percentage points a week.
Positive evaluation by age declined in all age groups excluding those in their 30s and 40s, and in a survey by gender and age, approval ratings declined in both men and women in their 50s and 60s or older. In particular, the approval rate of women in their 20s over the age of 18 was 33.6%, down 30.2 percentage points from last week. The negative evaluation was also 51.7%, up 21.6 percentage points from the previous week.
By region, it fell in all regions except Seoul, which recorded 42.8% approval rating. Gyeonggi and Incheon fell 4.8 percentage points to 34.8 percent, Daejeon, Chungcheong and Sejong fell 11.3 percentage points to 37.8 percent, Gangwon and Jeju fell 29.9 percentage points to 27.5 percent, Busan, Ulsan and Gyeongnam fell 6.1 percentage points to 29.8 percent, and Daegu Gyeongbuk fell 7.2 percentage points to 23.7 percent, and Jeonnam, Gwangju and Jeonbuk fell 9.7 percentage points to 56.6 percent.
R&Search analyzed that the view that the final responsibility for the LH incident lies with President Moon is the dominant situation, so the public’s apology has not subsided public anger.
Meanwhile, President Moon Jae-in promised in his inauguration address in 2017 that he would “make a country with a fair process”, but the people did not think so. When asked, “Do you think the Moon administration is more fair than the previous regimes?”, 49% of the respondents answered that it is “unfair”, and 11% answered that “the previous administration and the Moon administration are similar.”
