Com2uS acquires developer AllM… to secure PC game capabilities

Com2uS (CEO Song Byung-jun) announced on the 2nd that it acquired about 57% of the stake in Game Developer OlM (CEO Jong-Myung Lee) and took over management rights.

With this acquisition, Com2uS has strengthened its competitiveness by securing AllM’s PC game development capabilities, famous game IP (intellectual property rights), and subsidiary Funflow’s mobile game.

Established in 2000, AllM is a mid-sized game company that has built up development power and global service know-how by successfully servicing PC games such as’Critika Online’ and’Roonia Electric’ for a long time.

‘Critika Online’, the representative work, has been enjoyed by more than 20 million members in more than 70 countries since its launch in 2013, and’Roonia Electricity’, which won the Presidential Award for Digital Contents in 2007, is also popular with 5 million users in more than 80 countries. It’s a game.

In particular,’Critika Online’ has been in service for over 6 years in China, the world’s largest online market, through collaboration with local partner Tencent. In 2019, it is also spurring new market development, starting with the global platform Steam and becoming the Top Sellers, which means the world’s best selling game.

Through this acquisition of AllM, Com2uS has secured the technology to develop PC games that have led such long-term achievements, especially in-house engine development and use of various commercial engines, and has a foundation for multiplatform expansion of its game IP. In addition, all-M is planning to develop new games and develop mutual cooperation for global services.
