[시사포커스 / 이근우 기자] Coach Thomas Tuchel is being picked up as Arsenal’s next command tower after being sacked at Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).

British media’Talk Sports’ said on the 25th (local time), “Director Mikel Arteta Arsenal was at a forefront after losing 1-4 in the Carabao Cup against Manchester City. “There will be pressure that one of the best coaches in Europe has come out that PSG has been hard on Tuhel.”

Coach Tuhel, who took over as PSG manager in 2018, won the League 1, France Cup (Coupe de France) and League Cup (Coupe de la League) last season, achieving a treble and lifting a total of six trophies. He was the first club ever to finish second in the European Football Federation (UEFA) Champions League.

However, it was hard when PSG finished third in the league with 11 wins, 2 draws and 4 losses. Coach Tuhel, who had already had a clash with PSG GM Leonardo over the signing of a player, appears to have been hardened by the pressure for his poor performance.

Coach Tuhel’s hard work deserves Arsenal’s interest. Arsenal started their worst season in 46 years with 4 wins, 2 draws, 8 losses, 14 points and 15th in the league. Arsenal fans are shouting the hard work of Arteta.

Amidst the shaking of Arteta’s position, Tuhel’s move is also drawing attention.

On the other hand, PSG has placed Tottenham Hotspur’s first coach, Maurizio Pochettino, as the successor of Tuhel.
