CJ Logistics has selected 32 courier heroes of the year who have silently tried their best to protect the people’s stable daily life even in the situation of a novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19) pandemic.
CJ Logistics held an awards ceremony for this year’s courier, and selected 4 couriers of the year and 28 excellent couriers in four categories, including courier, delivery store, trunk, and contractor, and awarded them a total of 96 million won. It was announced on the 3rd that it was delivered. Due to social distancing, this event was conducted in a way that individual prize money was delivered to each target instead of a group award ceremony.
The winners have made a hidden effort in helping the people overcome Corona 19 over the past year, and have been recognized for their contribution to raising awareness of the delivery service through the development of the delivery industry and social contribution activities. The prize money was 10 million won each to this year’s courier and 2 million won each to excellent couriers.
In the parcel delivery service category, Gwanak Shinwon delivery store, Gwanak Shinwon, who is in charge of delivery in Gwanak-gu, Seoul, was selected as the delivery company of the year. Mr. Geum, who runs the YouTube channel’Taekah’, communicates with subscribers by shooting and editing the work directly with the usual delivery date.

In the delivery store category, Na Young-hee (44), the manager of Incheon Yeonsu Songdo Landmark delivery store, who runs a delivery store with her husband in Songdo, Incheon, was selected. It was recognized for the development of a courier-based CSV (shared value creation) model, such as creating jobs for the handicapped by introducing delivery agents for the hearing impaired in some areas of the management area.
In the contractor category, Han Suk Man Power, who built the first Corona 19 screening checkpoint and drive-through temperature check system for trunk lines, was awarded at the Konjiam Mega Hub Terminal in Korea. In the trunk line company category, the trunk line company Joil Logistics was awarded for the contribution of improving the efficiency of the use of the hub terminal container and increasing the satisfaction of the trunk car drivers.
An official from CJ Logistics said, “In order to convey the meaning of gratitude to all the courier workers who did their best to maintain a stable daily life in the situation of Corona 19, and to inspire pride, we carried out the grand prize for the delivery of the year. We will not spare any support to create an industrial ecosystem.”
