At around 6:6 pm on the 25th, a report was received of suspected gas leakage from a city gas pipe buried under a road near the intersection near Gyodae intersection near Geumho-eup, Yeongcheon-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do.
Upon receiving the notification, Yeongcheon City informed the residents within a 300m radius of the shift crossing to evacuate through a safety message at 8:40.
The accident on this day is believed to have leaked gas from the city gas pipeline buried near the national highway. We are taking this safety measure.
As the accident site was repaired, Yeongcheon City sent a text message to the residents through a safety text message at around 9:40 pm, three hours after the accident.
The police will investigate the exact cause of the accident against the exact city gas company officials.
