Ahn Cheol-soo, president of the National Assembly Party, who was running for the Seoul Mayor’s by-election, announced on the 25th that he was in favor of the amendment to the medical law to revoke the licenses of doctors sentenced to more than a confinement sentence for murder and sexual crime. “I agree with the basic direction (of the amendment to the medical law), but I cannot help but point out the timing issues ahead of the corona 19 vaccination,” he said.
Representative Ahn said in a meeting of the Supreme Council that day, “With Corona 19, medical staff are struggling, and many people are tilting their heads as to whether the (Medical Act) amendment must be pushed forward. What hidden intentions are in this regime’s behavior? I wonder if it is,” he said. “Even so, I agree with the purpose of the revision of the medical law.”
Specifically, he said, “If people in leadership positions, including doctors, commit a crime of an inappropriate degree to perform the job, it is natural to prevent them from continuing the job,” he said. “Politicians, high-ranking officials, and lawyers, etc. “People who are the subject of social envy and have a superior position need to take their own moral responsibilities more strictly before the demands of members of society.”
