Justice Minister Choo Mi-ae, who had not made any official remarks after the court suspended the enforcement of disciplinary action against Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol, expressed his heart.

Minister Chu wrote on his Facebook page on the night of the 27th, “Even though I knew that day would not come easily, I also desperately realized that it must come.”

This is the position of Minister Chu, which came out for the first time after the Seoul Administrative Court suspended the effect of the’two-month suspension’ against President Yoon on the 24th.

Earlier, on the 16th, Minister Chu made a request for disciplinary action against Yoon, who had been suspended for two months. When President Moon Jae-in reapproved this, he expressed his intention to drop the ministerial post and left on Facebook, “It was a dream for a fair and impartial world even if it broke into pieces.” Minister Chu has since remained silent without commenting on the decision to suspend the execution of the disciplinary action by President Yun.

Meanwhile, Minister Chu is scheduled to attend the recommendation committee for the head of the High-ranking Public Officials Crime Investigation Office (KAI) held at the National Assembly on the 28th. It is highly likely that the two final candidates for President Moon Jae-in will be decided on this day.
