Selected as the only organization in charge of initial start-up package among Chonnam National University technology holding companies
Support for up to 100 million won in commercialization funds required for prototype production, marketing, etc.
[한경잡앤조이=이진호 기자] The Chonnam National University Technology Holding Company is recruiting companies that participate in the initial startup package business in 2021 by the 15th.
The initial start-up package is a project that comprehensively supports the stabilization and growth of early start-up companies within three years of start-up by universities or public and private institutions with excellent start-up infrastructure. It is a project that supports up to 100 million won in commercialization funds required for prototype production, acquisition of intellectual property rights, and marketing to selected companies.
Chonnam National University Technology Holding Company was selected as the only university technology holding company last year as a supervisory organization of the initial start-up package by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. The Chonnam National University Technology Holding Company was established in May 2011 with 100% investment from the Chonnam University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation.
The targets for support are individuals and corporations founded between March 26, 2018 and March 25, 2021. Selection evaluation proceeds with the procedures of qualification review, document evaluation, presentation evaluation, and on-site confirmation. Document evaluation is conducted for founders with qualification requirements among all applicants. Presentation evaluation (including mentoring) and on-site confirmation are conducted for about twice the size of the final selection.
The final selected company is expected to carry out the project for about 10 months from May 2021 to February 2022.
The application period is until 6 pm on the 15th and can be applied through K-Startup, the start-up portal site of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
