Chong Kun Dang and Chong Kun Dang Holdings hold the 8th regular shareholders’ meeting

Chong Kun Dang held the 8th regular shareholders’ meeting at the headquarters of Chong Kun Dang in Chungjeong-ro on the 26th.

Chong Kun Dang reported at the general shareholders’ meeting that it achieved consolidated sales of KRW 1.30.3 trillion and operating profit of KRW 123.9 billion in 2020, and decided to pay a cash dividend of KRW 1,000 per share, which is 40% of the face value.

CEO Kim Young-joo said in his greeting, “Last year, the domestic economy recorded negative growth due to the global economic downturn. Despite difficult economic conditions and external variables, we recorded the highest sales and operating profit.”

Regarding this year’s plan, CEO Kim said, “We will pursue qualitative growth by preparing a substantial growth structure, and we will achieve continuous growth based on differentiated competitiveness amid uncertainties through entry into overseas markets and strengthening R&D pipelines.”

Chong Kun Dang Holdings also held the 66th regular shareholders’ meeting on the same day. Chong Kun Dang Holdings reported consolidated sales of KRW 858.1 billion and operating profit of KRW 89.3 billion in 2020, and decided to implement a cash dividend of KRW 1,400 per share, which is 56% of the face value.
