The meeting was attended by 65 presidents of the nation, including Tae-won Choi, chairman of Seoul Prize, Busan Prize Jang In-hwa, Chairman Lee Jae-ha, Daegu Prize, Incheon Prize Chairman Shim Jae-seon, Dae-Hee Chung, and Ulsan Prize Chairman Lee Yun-cheol.
Chairman Tae-won Choi said, “The Chamber of Commerce has a responsibility not only to represent the rights and interests of its members, but also to contribute to the development of society.”
Chairman Choi said, “The Korean economy is in a very difficult time and I have doubts whether it will be able to recover to its original state.”
Chairman Choi promised to support local economy revitalization by establishing a regional economy team in the Korean Chamber of Commerce.
Chairman Choi said, “In a new era, there will be an expectation that the people will have in their tops, and how to do this is anxiety and homework.”
Chairman Choi added, “In particular, the impact of climate change issues will increase as policies and regulations change together, but it is necessary to actively respond,” he added. “There will also be a role that companies should play to solve social problems such as polarization.”
Chairman Choi promised, “I met online today, but if there is an opportunity to meet in person in the future, I will listen to the words of each region and cooperate.”
Chairman Jang In-hwa of Busan Sang-sang, who participated in the meeting, said, “Corona 19 is constraining our economy, but we must take the lead and overcome difficulties and establish a sustainable management system.” Let’s cooperate.”
Chairman Lee Jae-ha said to Chairman Choi, “It hasn’t been a while since he took office, but expectations are already high.”
Chairman Tae-won Choi, who took office as the president of the Seoul Prize last month, is scheduled to be elected as the 24th President of the Korean Prize through the General Assembly on the 24th in accordance with the custom of the Seoul Prize Chairman serving as the Chairman of the Korean Prize.
