Comedian Jo Hye-ryeon uploaded a face-to-face worship service in a situation where social distancing was at step 2.5, and the controversy was elucidated.
On the 4th, Cho Hye-ryeon posted on his Instagram on the 4th, saying, “I am sorry for causing concern for the authentication shots taken after the worship service yesterday.” I asked for help for the worship service, so I went.
He added, “The total number of attendance at the service is around 10, and we have confirmed in advance that we comply with the number limit set by the government’s quarantine regulations.”
He added, “We will continue to pay extra attention and follow government guidelines.”
On the 3rd, Cho Hye-ryeon posted a photo of a man posing with a man wearing a mask at a church on Instagram. Together with this, he said, “We worship with a married couple and a baby in a beautiful church. “Thank you for a blessed Sunday.”
In response, some criticized Jo Hye-ryeon for violating the quarantine regulations prohibiting face-to-face worship at religious facilities, and Cho Hye-ryeon deleted the photo. Currently, in the metropolitan area, due to the spread of a novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19), social distancing is 2.5 steps, so non-face-to-face worship is the principle. However, for the smooth progress of online video production, etc., it is limited to 20 people or less.
