The power of the people Cho Eun-hee, the Seoul Mayor’s race candidate, criticized President Moon Jae-in and the opposition mayor of Seoul’s visit to the traditional market. “The quarantine was emergency so that the family couldn’t get together properly at the turn of the day, so I had to take care of the situation in Seocho-gu,” he said, saying that he could not go to the traditional market.

Candidate Cho said on Facebook on the 11th that President Moon’s visit to the traditional fish market in Soraepo-gu, Incheon, “A number of citizens gathered while traveling the market with dozens of bodyguards and attendants. Is it going to happen?” He then criticized, “I encourage you to prepare for this stand in the online traditional market, but the back and forth are not right.”

It also launched an offensive toward the opposition candidates who visited the traditional market ahead of the holiday season. “Candidate Kyung-won Na and Candidate Se-hoon Oh visited Namdaemun, Mayor Park Young-sun, Nam Guro Mayor, Woo Sang-ho, Eunpyeong-gu Daerim Mayor, and Geum Tae-seop visited Seocho-gu Flower Market.” He added, “How much will it be to buy fish cake at a traditional market and take a picture to the merchants who are in crisis due to the coronavirus?”

He then urged, “Is the coronavirus only affected by the candidates running for the mayor of Seoul, or is votes more important than the health of Seoul citizens?”
