Cho Byeong-gyu’s side, “request for malicious rumor police investigation”

Actor Cho Byeong-gyu (25) said that he had requested an investigation by the police, denying the allegations of school violence (abusive) that have recently emerged.

On the 17th, Cho Byeong-gyu’s agency, HB Entertainment, announced on the 17th, “To hold legal responsibility for the indiscriminate malicious comments and dissemination of false information posted through the online community, our company officially requested a police investigation, and is currently undertaking an investigation related to this case. I will inform you that I did.”

He then emphasized, “We will no longer be left with regard to the offenses that mass-produce and spread malicious rumors against the actors we belong to, and we will seek legal responsibility without any prejudice or agreement according to the results of future investigations.”

Earlier, an online community posted an article claiming that Cho Byeong-gyu had been victimized by verbal violence against him when he was in high school in New Zealand.

The post posted, “It’s so unfortunate that many victims were buried,” and asked, “I hope Cho Byeong-gyu lived proudly. Just one apology.”

Earlier, after gaining popularity with the 2018 JTBC drama’SKY Castle’, Cho Byeong-gyu was once surrounded by suspicion of abusive violence.

At the time, Cho Byeong-gyu posted a post on the fan cafe and denied that “I was recognized as a friend who played with frequent interest in school because of acting.”

After debuting with the KBS 2TV drama’Who You-School 2015′ in 2015, Cho Byeong-gyu began to gain recognition as’SKY Castle’, and recently rose to the ranks of youth stars with the OCN drama’Wonderful Rumors’.
