On the 5th, a bunch of Chinese military planes again protested against Taiwan. China has launched three large-scale armed demonstrations in Taiwan in the last ten days.

Taiwan’s Ministry of Defense announced on the website that 10 Chinese People’s Liberation Army military aircraft had entered the Southwestern Taiwan Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) on that day.

The aircraft is a Chinese military Yun (運·Y)-8 anti-submarine patrol aircraft, a Kungjing (空警, KJ)-500 early warning unit, four Zen (J)-16 fighters, and four Zen-10 fighters. The Taiwanese military said it responded with patrol aircraft sorties, warning broadcasts, and radar tracking of air defense missile units.

This is the first day of a three-day joint maritime drill held by the US, Japan, India, and Australia security consultative body’Quad’, which is organized to contain China in the Bay of Bengal in eastern India with France.

In recent years, China has carried out such armed demonstrations three times. On the 26th of last month, 20 Chinese military aircraft returned from flying around the southern part of Taiwan, and three days later, 10 Chinese military aircraft again entered Taiwan’s air defense identification zone. Both were the days when Taiwan and the United States showed close steps.

According to the Ministry of Defense of Taiwan, in addition to large-scale armed demonstrations, a single Yun(運·Y)-8 anti-submarine patrol aircraft entered the Southwestern Taiwan Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) on the 4th following the 3rd.
