Chinese Experts “Relative Safety of Our Vaccines… Australia Should Stop Pfizer Approval”

Amid 33 deaths after being vaccinated against Pfizer’s coronavirus infection (Corona 19) in Norway, health experts in China urged Australia to stop urgent approval of the Pfizer vaccine, advocating the safety of the vaccine.

According to China’s state-run Global Times on the 20th, Chinese health experts are insisting that Australia stop urgently approving Pfizer vaccines and broaden their vaccine options. Australia was planning to secure 10 million doses of Pfizer vaccine (1 dose = 1 dose) and approve its use by the end of this month.

“Australia should analyze the risks and benefits of vaccinating older adults with Pfizer vaccine,” said Chang Chun-lai, a professor at Jilin University.

Another Chinese immunization expert said, “Australia should wait for the advice of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the results of the Norwegian investigation,” and “Australia can wait because it is a relatively weak summer for the spread of Corona 19.”

Chinese immunization experts warned that the AstraZeneca vaccine could also be more fatal to the elderly than the Pfizer vaccine.

They said, “We need to expand our vaccine options, such as buying a relatively safe Chinese vaccine.”
