China’s “This yellow dust is to blame Mongolia”?… Looking at the’origin’ weather map

When it comes to the origin of yellow dust, China is often sensitive. Our Meteorological Administration sees the Neimungu Plateau, where China and Mongolia overlap, as its origin. China’s state-run media argued that China was only a stopover and blamed Korean media reports.

The yellow dust that hit 14 regions in China yesterday (15th) reached the highest level of 200 times that of Korea.

Currently, the yellow dust has faded with strong winds, but warnings are still issued in the central and southern regions such as Shandong Province.

However, the controversy about the origin of the untimely origin in the Chinese media sparked fire.

The state-run Global Times said that the source of this yellow dust is Mongolia.

They claimed that the loss of forests due to cattle ranching caused severe yellow dust in China.

It was also said that the sensational reports of Korean media blaming China raised criticism against China.

The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs has also joined.

[자오리젠/중국 외교부 대변인 : 중국관측소 분석에 따르면 이번 황사는 국경 밖에서 발원해 단지 중국을 경유한 것입니다.]

However, our Meteorological Administration announcement was different.

Unlike China, the Mongolian blame explained that “yellow dust originated in the Neimenggu Plateau and northeast China.”

The Neimungu Plateau overlaps China and Mongolia.

This can also be easily checked on the weather road.

On the 14th, yellow dust occurred not only in Mongolia but also in northeastern China and spread to the east.

The Global Times also wrote that “yellow dust originating in Mongolia is about half of the total amount of yellow dust generated.”

He admitted to himself half the responsibility.
