According to the Global Times, the state-run English newspaper, the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement at the dawn of the 21st, around the inauguration of US President Joe Biden, seriously violating China’s sovereignty and sanctions those primarily responsible for the US government’s China-related moves He said he had decided to do it.

The sanctions included Trump’s Minister Pompeo, White House National Security Adviser Robert O’Brien, White House Trade and Manufacturing Policy Director Peter Navarro, and David Stillwell, Assistant Secretary of State for East Asia and Pacific Affairs. The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs explained that “they and their immediate family members are prohibited from entering mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macao,” and “the companies and organizations related to them are also restricted from doing business in China.”

Those who are subject to sanctions and their immediate family members are prohibited from entering mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau. Businesses and institutions related to them are also restricted in their transactions in China.
