The Chinese military’s pressure on Taiwan continues. Taiwan’s Ministry of Defense released data on the day, saying, “Chinese military aircraft, including four Zen (J)-16 fighters, entered the Southwestern Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) on the 5th, and then withdrew after a sortie and warning broadcast for patrol aircraft.” This is the third time that a Chinese military aircraft has entered Taiwan’s air defense identification zone. The Taiwanese side is also raising the level of military response against the successive protests by the Chinese military.
