First of all, the deliberation committee discussed ways to increase the bond recovery rate of the temporary child support emergency support system. The government is operating a temporary child support emergency support system, which provides support for child support creditors for up to one year and exercises the right to indemnify the debtor. Over the past six years, the government’s temporary child support emergency support amounted to 875 million won, and the amount collected from the debtor was only 20 million won, recording a recovery rate of 2.3%. As a result of the revision of the Child Support Implementation Act, from June this year, when the temporary child support emergency subsidy is collected, the mandatory national tax collection system will be applied mutatis mutandis.
