A suspect in the’liquid terrorism’ incident was caught by the police while riding bicycles at night in Changwon, Gyeongsangnam-do, spraying liquids such as coffee to women in their twenties and fleeing.
The Changwon Central Police Department announced on the 25th that it had arrested A in her 30s on charges of running away after regularly spraying coffee and drinks after picking a woman alone at night (assault, etc.).
Mr. A has been accused of running away after spraying lukewarm coffee or drinks on his head and body more than 10 times targeting a woman at a bus stop or bench in Seongsan-gu, Changwon-si for nearly a month. It is known that the crimes occurred mainly in the dark and busy late-night hours.
The police arrested him as a suspect after seeing Mr. A riding a bicycle while wearing a mask and jumper through closed circuit (CC) TV analysis, etc.
This incident was made known on Facebook on the 20th, when a post was posted on Facebook stating that “Women sprinkle coffee on their bodies and look for a man who escaped”. The publisher of this article said, “I ride a bicycle in front of a mart in Jungang-dong, Seongsan-gu, Changwon-si, around midnight on the 20th, and look for a person who sprinkled coffee on a woman’s body. “I was chasing you and immediately ran away,” he said.

Another publisher posted a post with the intention of “My acquaintance was also met, and I filed the case at the central police box around 9 pm.” “I sat alone waiting for the bus at the bus stop on the night of February 26th. Someone poured more than half of the drink over his head and ran away.
