On the 28th, the late Samsung Chairman Lee Kun-hee gave his last greetings to executives and employees at a business site in the memory semiconductor field, which was ranked No. 1 in the world.

The late Chairman Lee Kun-hee, Ungu Vehicle, visited the Hwaseong plant for about 25 minutes from 11 am on the day.

From two hours before arrival, many executives and employees came out and took over 3,000 chrysanthemums prepared by the company, and lined up in 4-5 lines on both sides of the Hwaseong Campus Road, which is about 2 km long.

Just before the arrival of the Ungu parade around 11 am, more employees, including line workers, came out and watched the deceased’s last way to work.

In front of Line 16, where the deceased attended the groundbreaking and completion ceremonies in 2010 and 2011 and encouraged employees, all the bereaved families, including Vice Chairman Lee Jae-yong, got off.

Here, a video from the past visit to Line 16 was screened for about two minutes, and male and female employees wearing dust-proof clothes took up line 16 wafers and commemorated the deceased. The bereaved families bowed their heads to the executives and employees before boarding the bus to express their deep gratitude. It is said that the executives and employees were blinded as they watched the last path of the deceased.

At this meeting, major management and executives, former and current executives, and thousands of employees, as well as employees of partner companies, came together to send off the deceased. Even though they were on parental leave, some executives and employees came directly, and nearby residents also came out and said goodbye to the deceased.

The deceased visited the Hwaseong Campus four times in 2003, 2010, and 2011, including the 30th anniversary of the semiconductor business in 2004.
